We believe that communication shapes children and young peoples educational outcomes, health and well-being. Poor communication skills in childhood affect children and young peoples life chances. We believe in supporting children in reaching their full potential. We offer a range of speech and language therapy packages to suit individual requirements for parents and educational settings.
We want society to develop a greater awareness and understanding of those with speech, language and communication needs. This includes those with complex needs, such as Autism, Learning Difficulties, Down's Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy.
Rebecca and Sarah are Local Champions for The Communication Trust. Rebecca is an active supporter of the 'Read On. Get On' campaign to promote early communication and literacy skills
Through training and joint projects we aim to find ways to include children and young people in education and social activities within the community.
We are talking with MPs, libraries, art galleries, literacy projects, and other public-facing organisations to highlight the importance of speech, language and communication; and to improve access for those with speech, language and communication needs.
