Can I have private as well as NHS therapy?

Yes! With your permission, we will contact your NHS therapist to make sure our aims link in with their work. We have extensive experience working for local health and education services; this enables us to support their work and direct you to relevant local services.

How many sessions will I need?

During our first session we will discuss your concerns, and the support you would like. Together we may decide to complete some formal or play-based assessments and provide advice and activities. Therapy and assessment can be done at home, school or nursery. Some families and schools then ask us to complete a block of work with their child. We can also provide training so that carers or teaching staff can provide the therapy activities. We will agree together the outcomes that we are working towards, as well as the time frame, before we start.

How will you work with my child's school/nursery?

We believe successful outcomes come from a team approach to therapy. This means carers, therapists and education staff share goals. Together we will decide how to support the team around your child. For example, we may set joint goals with teaching staff, or provide training and resources to schools/nurseries.

How much will it cost?

We have developed a range of different therapy and training packages to suit different requirements. We are also happy to speak to schools and nurseries about tailor-made packages and whole-school training. Some families, schools and nurseries have funded additional therapy input from funds or benefits such as pupil premiums, nursery two year funding or disability allowances.
